No notifications in card view?
Morning all (8am in NZ!)
Just getting to know Smartsheet, but one thing is killing me at the moment and its i cant seem to get ANY notifications working.
Im running a workflow system using the card view, but have also tried switching to list view and still nothing. No matter what i set up under Alerts and Actions NOTHING works...
Ive also seen people talking about NOTIFICATIONS CENTRE, but I dont seem to have one. I have a notifications section but its literally just there to notify me, i cant set anything up.
Ive emailed SS over the last week TWICE with no response at all, so im hoping someone can tell me what im doing wrong?

Hi Chris,
The different views don’t affect the Alerts & Actions. The Notification Center is located in the top right corner.
Can you share some screenshots or the sheet? I'd be happy to help in any way I can.

Ive attached a few screenshots and hopefully ive set this up correctly. Neither of these alerts sends an email or alert or anything once the conditions are fulfilled...

Everything looks ok. Have you checked your Alerts & Actions Permissions int the Alerts & Actions overview (cog in the top right)

Didnt see that! Checked it LEAST RESTRICTIVE and setup the below rules (image), seems if i click DONE its working, but i dont get a notification if i change an ASSIGNED TO

Also, check your Personal Settings > Notifications so that they are configured as needed.
Is your Assigned To configured to Allow multiple contacts per cell?

Hi Andree
Checked Personal settings, all are allowed to receive emails for notifications.
How do I configure ASSIGNED TO? Each task is only assigned to 1 person, its just when a person is assigned or the assigned person changes, theres no email alert

It should work.
Try and disable/enable the rule.
