Edit Column properties

Hi

I have created a column of type: Checkbox. 

I want to know if it possible to restrict the checkboxes to certain rows. Or will each row have a checkbox by default ? 

As shown in the image attached, I don't want all the rows to have a checkbox.

Hi,

A trick I use all the time in my sheets is to put punctuation in the cells where the checkbox isn't needed and then color the text in the same color as the background. It will make the cells invisible until you hover over them.
