Formula Permision Error
Yesterday I pulled up a sheet that is pulling information from other sheets owned by someone else with no issues at all. Today I pull up that sheet and all of the cells referencing the other sheets have Permission Errors in them. I still have edit rights to those sheets...
I have edit access to all the sheets.
The only difference is my login password has changed. I have no problems accessing or editing.

Bill,
I am getting the same issue starting this morning. I have Admin access to the sheet I have been referencing successfully with an INDEX formula for the past few weeks. Must have something to do with the new update.
I hope the Smartsheet team can clear this up soon.

Have you reported it to them? If not I will.

Same thing happened to me. I sent an email to my Smartsheet contacts. Hope they can get it fixed asap that's months of work gone in the blink of an eye.

Bill,
I reached Tech support on the phone at 8:30 and they are looking into it and possibly escalating the issue.
Some of my co-workers are using cross-sheet formulas on sheets that they are the owner of with no issues today, so this problem might only affect a few of us.
-
Just got a call back and they are escalating. Sit tight!

Thanks, I reported it as well. Yes it seems to have to do with sheets that I am not the owner off.
Thanks for updating us.

This is happening to me as well as of late last night. I'm the owner of all the sheets involved, so that's an added wrinkle to what others are saying on this thread. What's also odd is that I was able to fix the error by re-sharing another sheet this happened to yesterday, but to no avail with the sheet still throwing the error. Please help! Need this fixed for a presentation to executives tomorrow morning!

+1
We began experiencing a similar issue this morning.
Sheet owner reported issues with inbound links from other sheets that he had Admin access to. He rec'd error message stating that the (paraphrase) "link was not valid due to not having valid permissions to referenced sheet".
This morning, the issue was isolated to a handful of random links within the single document. As of 10 minutes ago, all links are effected. - The error message has now changed to "Error: this link is invalid"
Have not contacted Smartsheet yet, as it appears that they are already aware of the situation. Fingers crossed that a fix is on the horizon. The ability for this functionality to function is crucial to our day-to-day.

Within the last hour, my formulas with the #PERMISSION ERROR are now back up and running. Hopefully they do a sweeping fix. Good luck!

Mine seem to be working as well.

Did a quick spot-check on a few files and it looks like we're good, too.

Good to go, mine are working this morning!
