Calendar View - unable to turn off 'summary tasks'
I have tried to 'not show' the summary tasks by 'unchecking' the Display Summary Tasks - this does not appear to work as my summary tasks still appear
Example:
Demo Projects
Insurance Demo
I only want to show the Insurance Demo on my calendar, not both the summary (project) and deliverable - I have logged out and back in but no change (display summary tasks is still 'unchecked') - is anyone else having this problem? Is it a bug?
Thanks

To my understanding you want to hide 'Parent' rows and keep only 'Children' visible.
It is possible indirectly as proposed below:
1. Create a new column.
.1.a. You could like creating it as a "Symbols..." column and select the first one with the flag or the star.
.1.b. Name this column "Show" for instance.
2. Flag the rows you want to show.
3. Filter them!
.3.a. Help on Filters: http://help.smartsheet.com/customer/portal/articles/504659-filtering-columns
3.b. Of course, UNCHECK "Show parent rows" when you set up your filter, that's the trick.

I'm seeing the same thing - changing the status of the "Display Summary Tasks" checkbox appears to have no effect on the calendar.
Our management wants to the see ONLY the summary tasks on a calendar view, and apparently this is not possible.

CowHorse, unchecking the Display Summary Tasks option will remove only top level summary tasks. If a parent row is indented under another row, it will be included in the calendar.
Here is an example:

Thanks Travis - I have all of the project tasks grouped under the main project task, so that I get an overview of the entire project time span. It would be nice then if there was a way to filter levels of nested tasks i.e. show only Section 2 in your image above, or show sub task 1-3, etc.

It is possible to filter your sheet to only show the rows you want, you would just need some sort of indicator on the rows that will identify them as rows you want to filter. Here is an article on filters: http://help.smartsheet.com/customer/portal/articles/504659-filtering-columns
