Currently, comments are only available at the row, sheet, and workspace levels. If you would like to give our product team your feedback, you could submit a Product Enhancement Request (you’ll find a link to this here in Community under Quick links on the right).
I would love to have this as well. Without it, I'm going back to using Excel.
