Hi Jamie, thanks for the suggestion! I will add your vote for overflow text to our enhancement request list.
I used smartsheet for it project sheet. But as soon as I tried to use it as a simple spreadsheet I came up against the issue of no overflow formatting made worse by no cell merge.
As you can imagine I used Google Sheets instead for this activity. Seems Smartsheet is not suitable as a generic spreadsheet.
This feature would be really useful indeed. This would help maintain cleaner spreadsheets in multiple cases.
For example, it would allow to put some lines of text at the beginning of a smartsheet to explain how to use the smartsheet / process.
How has this not been implemented yet, 3 years later? Come on...
