Multiple contact list in a column
Hello,
Is there a way to create multiple sets of group contacts or drop down lists in a single column so that only a specified set of contacts or individuals can be selected based on what information is selected in a drop down list from an adjacent column? For example, if I have 100 people in a contact list but, they are associated with three different physical locations. 50 to Building A, 25 to Building B and 25 to Building C. I would like to select Building A in one column and only have the ability to select the 50 individuals associated with this building in a separate column instead of having all 100 individuals show up in the list.

I have a similar question. I have a contact list column for participants who are not shared to a sheet (Sheet A, which is used to send reminders/alerts). The participant lists are in other sheets (Sheets B-F). Can I pull email addresses from a column in a participant list (in B, C, D, E, or F) and put them in a cell in the contact column for Sheet A? Would vlookup or a cross sheet formula work?

Hi,
Unfortunately, it's not possible at the moment to use formulas in Contact Columns, but it's a great idea!
Please submit an Enhancement Request when you have a moment.
A workaround could be to have another column with the values and then manually update the contact column.
Would that help?
Happy New Year!

I have an idea on how to maybe make it easier to select.
Can you describe your process in more detail and maybe share the sheet(s) or some screenshots? That would make it easier to help. (share too, andree@getdone.se)
Would that help?
Happy New Year!
