Auto-Populating One Sheet Based on Criteria of Another
I have a contact form that once the contact proceeds into the opportunity phase (think CRM), I want to automatically have their info populate into another sheet.
In the contact sheet, I envision a column titled "Proceed to Opportunity" with two options of Yes or No. If no, they stay as a contact. If Yes is selected, their info populates my Opportunity sheet.
There are many fields that need to transfer into the Opportunity sheet.
I've searched using vlookup and index and match, but can't seem to get the right formula working.

You cannot populate a new row automatically within Smartsheet without a 3rd party app like Zapier.
If it works for you though, you could pull a report from the master sheet to only display those that are marked as Yes along with any columns needed.

Paul is correct but depending on your specific use case and needs it could work with cell linking. I've previously set up solutions in this way. Zapier is an excellent option if you want to copy/move the row to another sheet automatically.
