Copy and paste images from excel to Smartsheet

I used Smartsheet for almost 2 years and so far I have to upload images from computer onto the smartsheet. 

However, I recently found that my colleagues can directly copy an image from excel and paste it to the smartsheet directly. I tried to do the same steps but nothing happened no matter I press ctrl + C / ctrl + v or right click the mouse to copy and paste. We are even using the same browser "Chrome"

Does anymore have the same experience ? how can I copy and paste images faster from an excel to smartsheet ?

It should work! Are you pasting into a specific cell? Which browser are you using?

I am having the same issues as you are. My boss thinks I am crazy when I say I can not copy and paste into SmartSheets. Did you ever find out what the issue was? It would be very helpful to me with the project I am working on to be able to copy and paste rather than upload an image very time.

I figured it out. If you copy an image from an outside source (excel, snipping tool, word) then you paste it you can not double click into the cell to past the image. Instead you just single click on the cell you want to post the image into and it will paste with no issue using the Ctrl + V short cut.
