Hi All,

I had a popup window saying that I have to refresh screen due to new version of smartsheet has been released.

Anyone knows what is it about? There is no information about it on release notes website, so... should I search for it by myself? :D

Yesterday we've been informed that Smartsheet acquired Slope and today such information could be associated with this, but how?

Why release notes are not prepared in correct manner?

    Hi Marcin,

Sometimes it's nothing new feature-wise and just some bug fixes.

Release notes tend to lag behind, and it's probably due to the release maybe being automatically rolled out, but the release notes are a manual process.

Re: Slope. It's what I hoped for, and I can't wait until it's integrated and see what they'll do with it. I have several clients that will have a use for it for sure.

2019 is off to a great start!

    Hope that helps!

    Have a fantastic week!

I've noticed one significant change/update. The "Open in New Tab" is available on more places now from the home area.

This right here is awesome. It has been one of the biggest drawbacks for me. I have so many projects I work on in SS and each one requires multiple sheets to be open at any given time. I build a lot of automation for my coworkers, so I have test sheets and dashboards and reports and all of that other fun stuff going on.

When I run into a road block with one, I'll switch to another for a while to get my mind off of it. I love being able to use the wheel clicker on the mouse to open pages from my recently used list as I can just go ahead and open all of the ones I need for a particular project. The problem I was running in to is that my Recently Opened list isn't long enough to keep up. It only shows the most recent 20 sheets. ONE project alone I have 13 sheets/dashboards/reports open at the same time making sure everything is meshing together as it needs to.

Not being able to open in a new tab from the home tab has been a huge headache which switching between projects. Now that I can, my job will be so much easier. yesyes
