Adding holidays to smartsheet gantt view

Hi,



I've got a GANTT chart with dependencies, so if a task is delayed / time is added it will have a knock on effect to all other tasks along the critical path. 

One thing I'd like to add is a 'holiday block' where during the month of February nothing is actioned. If a task falls over February, I'd like it to be split. 

eg: If a 2 week task starts during the last week of January, it'll work up until the start of Feb, then halt, then restart for the final week in the first week of March... 



Is there an easy way to do this?

I've followed the below instructions, but I can't see any pink holiday days...?

    Did you add the holidays in your project settings? You can see here that I added the first two weeks of February and my 4-day task now extends across that period. (Also, I never realized the holidays were pink. I always thought they were the same gray as the weekends.)
