Start Date based on Resource availability

I have a very complex schedule Im attempting to put into smartsheet.. I have been able to get the schedule to work and get the warnings that the resource is over booked.

But is there a way to have the start date be dependent on when the resource becomes available?

thanks for your feedback.. wondering if you have any other ideas to help..

i have a labor force of 1000 labor hours daily... I have hundreds of different jobs to schedule... I have the run rates automated...

currently im using the allocation % for the research based on the hours required vs available...

since it is based on labor hours we can run 100's of jobs in the same day...

currently i start at the top and select start date and keep going down the list until I have a resource constraint.. then that job starts the next day..

but with constant changing priorities… you can imagine this is going to be a pain..

so you if have any ideas on how to schedule such a resource it would be helpful..
