SAGE integration

Is it possible, or has anyone been able to, export data from Smartsheets into Sage in order to raise invoices? We use Smartsheets to create, assign and complete work orders. Data is then sent to various reports. We then have to do a manual export and line by line upload into sage. Has anyone been able to automate this - or make it less painful (without going down the Azuqua route).

    Stuart,

I'm not familiar with Sage - I'm new to having to invoice for my time.

I did set up a link to Google Docs, but don't like that I have to do one invoice per row.

I look forward to hearing better solutions.

Stuart - Export an invoice from Sage as a csv and you will have your template to make for exporting from Smartsheet. That's what a quick google showed but I signed up for a trial and cannot see the export anywhere.

    J. Craig Williams - I'm working on this, Where there's a will there's a way. My approach is to make an invoice table and link it back to the work order cells. Going to be a pain but I'm determined.

Shirley, you can Merge to Google docs but not the Google sheets, but creating invoices or Quotes in the Google Doc merged sheet works really well with a PDF created and even emailed out if you want?

I would have thought some use of APIs would help integrate the two systems?

We know this works with other online accounting systems but not (as yet) done it in Sage because no-one has asked.

Good luck and please share your findings?

    Regards
