I would take a look under the Smartsheet Solution center at the template called Project Launch Intake.
I would look into using parent and children to breakdown each one of your projects. Each project would be the parent.https://app.smartsheet.com/b/publish?EQBCT=210f932f4119409ca23db1ecd57a08a5
I used that template and deleted the data within. Also I changed the view to Grid.
Let me know what you think!

Hi Michael -
looks good so far - but can you walk me through adding a new parent and children? am i limited to how many parents and children i can add?
Thanks!

Hi,
There aren't any limitations on how many parents and children you can have as far as the total rows don't exceed 5000.
When you add rows the automatically becomes children. There are two main ways to create parents.
- Using the toolbar. Select the rows or cells in those rows that you want the child row above to become a parent of and click the button in the toolbar.
- Using keyboard shortcuts. Select the rows or cells in those rows you want the child row above to become a parent of and use the keyboard shortcut.

Hi,
I have been using a method to get the information for each project plan, into a consolidated plan (Grid view) by using the Cell linking option. Every line that you mentioned above are entered as a milestone in the respective project plan.
I create plan and name it "Consolidated Plan" or "Program" and now use the Cell Linking feature and bring all the milestones that i would like to track. I do this for all the project plans.
The advantage is that, any change in the parent plan, will automatically reflect in the Consolidated Plan. In the Consolidated Plan, i use the Traffic lights, to denote the status of each milestone and i share this plan with all the key stakeholders. It gives them an overview on the health of each project and the program as a whole.
Hope this helps..
thanks
Robert.

Robert,
Another direction that I use is having a hidden column (checkbox) named Summary. That has everything rolled up to it.
Then I will create a report with all the workplaces that have projects in them. Then that will show all projects summary in one place.(great report for upper management and dashboards).
