Can I hide predecessor lines in a gantt chart?

How is it possible that since 2019 this simple feature is neither noted on where it is in the product roadmap or implemented? Do you realize how often this ugly dependency-line covered Gantt has to be RECREATED in a deck presentation? Should we use Microsoft Project instead, which has had this feature since...2010?

If I want to export the schedule without the lines I go under [project settings] and temporarily change [predecessor column] from "predecessor" to "comments".

Hello - I would like to follow up on the comments and requests (seems like they have been pending since March 2019 - Four and a half years!).

I am getting ready to present a Gantt chart and the lines make it very difficult to read.
