Desktop install of Outlook 2016

I have Microsoft Office 2016 - a desktop version installed on my Surface 4 Pro.  I attempted to download the Smartsheet Plugin and it opened what appears to be another version of Outlook, one that may be available with the Windows 10 or something online.  Is there a way to set this up directly to the desktop version??
