Do published links expire after a certain amount of time? We are using published links for invoices and have noticed some stop working but cannot confirm if they ever worked at all.
Hi Leah,
Yes they do!
_NOTE: The link in the email will expire after 30 days or after it's been clicked 100 times. This is a security precaution to prevent unlimited access to your files. If needed, you can re-send the attachment through email to generate a new link._
Hope that helps!
Have a fantastic week!

Is there a way to keep the link active? We use this often and it would be a pretty big issue if the link became inactive. I wasn’t aware this happened. Does it happen for enterprise users as well, or just non enterprise users?
I have checked a couple older than 30 days and I can still access sheets I’m shared to and sheets I’m not. Is there some other factor that causes the links to expire? It doesn’t seem to be happening yet.
Hi Julie,
Are you sharing the links to attachments thru email from Smartsheet?
Hi, Is there a documentation about this on Smartsheet that public links expire?
Hi,
Yes, there is!
Here you go!

ah I meant public links to a report/sheet. we want to purge or expire these public links after the need is over; because we are sure most users won't remember to toggle the public link off on the sheets or reports. But as Admin I don't have full visibility into all users sheets and links and there is no functionality to disable the public link by the admin anyways.

Ok.
I'll look at the other post!
Hi, "Fields marked with an asterisk (*) are required." is the very first line in the body of every form I create. I don't remember seeing it before (unless you missed filling out a required field; then you would see the message). Is there a way to turn it off or change it? None of my forms are in English so the message is…
I have a sheet that I pull into a report. The report I then want to use to make a stacked bar chart and put into a dashboard if I can. The columns I am trying to make into a stacked chart are: Lead, project and phase. The issue is that there are several leads and I need the stacked bar chart to show in different colors for…
I have a dynamic view setup for a dashboard that has NO restrictions And on the Sharing tab, I have a Group that I created as the additional share access to the view But the individuals in the Group still cannot see the data from the dashboard. Am I missing something? Because when I share the view to them individually…
