We have an external group of grant committee members viewing a Smartsheet that we are hosting. Some of them do not have Dropbox. If we attach files from Dropbox, are they going to have difficulty opening them?
I think you should be fine. This article (linked below) states, "Attaching an item from Dropbox creates a public link to it that is added to Smartsheet." You may need to do something different if you expect the recipients to edit the files and save the updates back to Smartsheet.
