Is number positioning/formatting available on bar graphs in a dasboard?....any chart? My numbers all overlap and I can't figure out how to clean it up.

You might try the horizontal bar chart instead of the vertical one. More info on charts can be found in the help center: https://help.smartsheet.com/articles/2476691-compare-live-data-with-a-chart
The horizontal bar chart as Shaine suggested above should help keep the numbers from overlapping. Otherwise the answer to your specific question is "No". Nothing can be done about the overlap other than not including the numbers.

It does not matter which data I select, I am getting the error of Selected data cannot be charted. I even tried reusing a report that is producing a chart on a different dashboard, but I am unable to create new charts in a dashboard. Anyone have any ideas as to why?
