PM's with multiple types of projects - approach?

team of 5 people, with four project types. - think new, inline, market research, and outreach.

would you have a sheet template for each project type, and make a new sheet for each project, or one master sheet for each personwith a "project type" drop down or some other way?

The projects have aboout 25% overalpping data and 75% unique data.

And with a new set of clients, the conclusion is still the same -- separate projects work better for me and the PM's I interact with.
