Dynamic View... sharing a few initial findings.

1. @mentions aren’t supported.

2. DV doesn’t have a Reporting function built in (ie we need to create a Report form a Sheet before creating the DV)

3. dropboxes show the options but don’t allow to free type a new option, even if allowed in the sheet. It’s also not possible to start typing to fast forward to an existing dropdown option.

4. There is only one Filter option.

5. Dashboard integration isn’t as Dynamic like Reports

6. All the left hand side menu that we enjoy on sheets isn’t on DV, ie sending sheets/updates, reminders, print etc etc.

7. Cell highlighting on sheet changes aren’t highlighted in DV.

8. Can you help me to delete a row in DV?

It looks like you have a lot of great suggestions to improve Dynamic View! I welcome you to submit a Product Enhancement Request to let our Product team know you would like to see these functionalities in Dynamic View. 

As for line item 8, this isn't currently possible in Dynamic View —you would need to delete the row from the sheet itself.

I won’t be submitting and enhancement request...this is basic stuff  

...and as for deleting from the sheet. Really!? I’ve shared a DV with 20 people and you’re telling me that when a row needs deleting that I have to be the administrator. This is not acceptable let alone a good use of my time.

I second the ability to @mention in a Dynamic View.  That way I can interactively collaborate with people that don't have access to the entire sheet, but have access to the rows (would be great to be cards) in the view.  Maybe restrict @mention use to those that are given permission to the Dynamic View?  I can't share the whole sheet with these folks, but if I could get them to interact with the data that they are allowed to see it would break down some barriers to collaboration.

I entered a couple of those because they affect our users as well.  The lack of support for @mentions is particularly annoying.  Hopefully this can get on the roadmap quickly!
