Remaining Budget

Good evening:

I have broken down my Project Budget and spent a total of 13% of my Budget. I have used the formula to get the total sum (13%). However, I am challenged with adding to the formula to get the remaining budget of 87%.

Sum Formula: =SUM(CHILDREN())

Task A: 10%

Task B: 1%

Task C: 2%

Task 0%

Hi Kam,

Try something like this.

1=100% and Spent2 is the cell for the SUM of Spent.

=1 - Spent2

Hi Kam,

Yes, Andrée is correct, if you're currently getting the value 13% and would like to achieve the difference in a separate cell you could achieve this utilizing a formula similar to Andrée's example above:

=1 - [13% Column Name]1
