Creating Hierarchy Levels Automatically
Hi,
I have a project plan with a number of hierarchy indents/levels. From what I can see we only have the option to expand or collapse all levels at once. We need to review the project plan at different levels depending on the audience.
To help review the project plan at the appropriate level I created a new column called level. Each tasks is Level 1, 2, 3, 4 based on the number of indents. The project team can then filter by this column to get the appropriate view. Is there a better way to do this?
If not, is it possible to set up a formula to automatically number the level column based on the number of indents?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Chris

Thanks Brett for the quick reply and the answer. I am surprised that this is not part of the standard functionality of Smartsheet. I will drop you an email.
