If I am running several sheets, when I share a sheet with someone... is that the only sheet that person sees?

Heidi,

One of the recent updates to smartsheet allows you to share individual sheets. Alternatively, you can share the entire workspace the sheet is part of. Check out the help videos and webinars for details.

I understand. There is a lot of help there, but there are so many facets to learn. Learn the basics of what you need. This community is very helpful to fill in the details.

 

You wil find a great deal of similarity to Excel. But, also, several different functions and commands, some new functions, and some missing functions. I find some functions easier to implement in excel and then copy the resulting cells to my smartsheet. 

 

For the sheet sharing, there are options to "Share Sheet" or "Share Workspace" which will share all sheets in the workspace.

When you share a sheet, you are only sharing that sheet UNLESS it is located in a workspace, then there is an option to share only the sheet or the workspace as well.
