Emailing a contact chosen on a dropdown

Is there a way to email a contact identified by a dropdown list?

Hi Shawn,

Yes, it is! There are a few ways to set it up, depending on your specific need and structure.

If the dropdown list is a contact column, it can be used in a Workflow and send an email.
If the dropdown list is a dropdown list column, it can still be used in a Workflow, but the Workflow would need to have the email address added already.
Another option could be to use a third-party integration like Zapier to automate it outside of Smartsheet.
