Alerts - Notifications to Groups

Is it not possible to set up a Notification alert to be sent to a Group? I only see the ability to send them to individual users.

Hi, is this long requested update of @group instead of @individual coming soon ? Think it is much needed, even more now Automation gets stressed so much. Can Groups now only be used to share a sheet, or does it also have other uses ?

My last request for this feature was almost a year ago. It's now been on the Smartsheet feature request for THREE years! And they wonder why some of us on old Team accounts don't want to upgrade. When a very basic feature is ignored in favor of "app of the day integration," those of us who don't have full-time programming staffs to manage and develop Smartsheet are left out.
