Errors in CSV User Upload

Hello,
I just completed a user import from a CSV file. The first names and emails are fine, but the last names have several diamonds with question marks in them.Β How can I edit the users name?Β I right click and go to edit user but I'm not able to make any changes.

Hi Todd,
You can't edit the names until the users are active. You could maybe delete them and add again?

Thanks for the reply!Β I did delete and go back to the CSV file and found some hidden characters.Β I deleted those and reimported but had the same issue again.

I then recreated the CSV file from scratch and reimported and the characters are still there.Β It seems like Smartsheet is remembering the deleted user.

Are there any special characters in the names? Like Γ ΓΓ and similar?
