Using Microsoft Flow to update an excel sheet when a Smartsheet is updated
I have been searching and trying out with Microsoft Flow to update an excel sheet in SharePoint, when triggered by "When a sheet is updated - Smartsheet".
However, no matter how I try, I am not able to get the specific row data values. I could only retrieve information of that sheet, for example modified date or name of sheet.
Is there any way I can access the data in the smartsheet using Microsoft flow?
I tried using Power Query to update the excel, however, it seems like sharepoint does not allow external connection to files outside of sharepoint.

Hey Sean -
We faced a similar problem when using Zapier - it required using another app (airtable) to store the individual cell values to then pass further downstream (email in this case).

Question : Is there a way to Update a SmartSheet via an excel spread sheet using Power Automate. Power Automate does list a template for Copying data from SmartSheet to Excel via Online Sharepoint BUT nothing in the reverse.

Hi, did you ever figure this out? I'm pretty sure you can go from Excel to Smartsheet.
