Repeating the same task across multiple months

Hi

I am building task lists for our global team for the rest of 2016 that I will be showing in a calendar view for them and setting up alerts and reminders on what has to be completed, when.

I have a number of tasks that need to be perfomed every month; how do I set these up to repeat?

The only way I can think of how to do this atm is to create different lists for each sub tasks for each month:

June

  • Finalise data
  • Produce reports
  • Sign off data from senior mgmt

July

  • Finalise data
  • Produce reports
  • Sign off data from senior mgmt

Is there  a more streamlined way  to do this?

Thanks

    HB,

An option is the row Update Request.

I've had limited success with this primarily due to the UR being a one time link.

The UR goes to the person and they update the row to "reactivate" the row as a task.

They  use their task list as normal, now that the task is back on the list.

When they finish, they update / complete the task.

When the cycle comes around again, they get the next task to "reactivate" the task.

So, I wasn't using the UR to get a status update, but rather to create the next task.

    Hope that is clear.
