I am looking to see how I can insert a Hyperlink into a Request Update notification, Please find the attached screenshot.
Any link can be pasted into the message but I don't know that you can hyperlink a word for example.
Hi,
Do you want a specific hyperlink for each update request?
Have a fantastic day!

Yes Andree the same hyperlink will be used in every request
Do you want the update request to sent automatically when something specific happens?
@Andrée, just thinking... If you were 'attach' a link, using the option I have outlined below, then you would be able to have a unique hyperlink per row and trigger the update requests with a workflow?
If possible that will be great Andree
It's possible with an automation workflow.
What would trigger the update?
Yes, that's correct! You could also include the link on the row in a cell and include that as a placeholder in the update request message.
The formatting only seems to work with a hyperlink if it's not masked. Is that accurate?
I have a hidden column that I use for a URL with display text. When I use the placeholders in the automation, it displays the text but not as a hyperlink.
I can only get it to show as a hyperlink if the complete URL is shown in the cell.
Hello Gil,
The quickest way i can think of getting around that is to 'attach' a hyperlink to the row and ensure you are displaying attachments in the automation. This way you will get a Hyperlink and be able to change the display name to whatever you want to.
Not sure if that helps?
Hi Gil,
Unfortunately, as far as I know, it's not possible at the moment to show anything but the complete URL, but it's an excellent idea!
Please submit an Enhancement Request when you have a moment.
I hope that helps!
Have a fantastic weekend!

I'm creating an offboarding checklist sheet which sends out automation notifications to relevant parties in each department. Notifications are sent out when the termination goes live, one week after the termination date (if that department's tasks still aren't checked off as done), and two weeks after the termination date…
Does sharing a sheet with edit or view rights immediately require the shared user to have a paid license, effectively making them a group member? This seems to be occurring. In contrast, can I confirm that sharing a link using the 'publish' feature will not require a license since the user is only accessing that specific…
I have provisional users who, under the legacy model, were unlicensed users with editing permissions for workspaces. I’ve now changed their role to "viewers" and assigned editing permissions to specific workspaces, aiming to maintain the same editing experience as before. However, they cannot edit fields within tasks or…
