Great error logs!

hey, this usually goes unoticed but is really much appreciated, I really love the error messaging of the API. I ran into a error 1123 trying to add rows with different parentIds into an existing smartsheet, and I couldn't believe how clear and useful the error message was!

 

I literally had to stop and think of how much time I would have spent trying to figure out what was going on, which is sadly the case with a lot of other APIs out there. 

 

I know this is probably not a cool feature people talk about, but from a dev perspective, what a lifesaver! It's awesome! I'm loving working with the API!

 

No frustrations makes for one very happy dev!

I completely agree with you. A useful error or warning will be pay for itself over and over again.

Really glad to hear about your great experience. We try to make our error messages as useful as possible. It's not always possible, but in most cases I think our API is pretty comprehensive.
