Automation Not Working for Reminders

Hello!
I've set up a Reminder automation and its not sending an email. Here's an example of what ive tried.
I have set this up to reminder me once a day before the start date.
I have also tested out sending the reminder on the actual start date. I haven't seen any emails come through and I'm not sure what the issue is.
If someone has any advice this would be great.

Hi Lauren,
First, make sure that you have allowed yourself to receive notifications properly in your Personal Settings (circle/profile in the upper right corner) and secondly check the Permission.setting for the Automations. (cog in the upper right corner in the Automation overview)

I checked and i do get notifications as i have received them before. Any other pointers. As you can see i have a test scheduled to send me an email in about 20 minutes. I hope it works.

Hello,
I've made the changes that Andrée recommended and, while I get notifications in the Notifications bar, I do not get emails.
Are there any other things I may be doing wrong?

Can you explain a little more about your specific use-case? It would be helpful to see screen captures of your workflow set-up, explaining exactly when the workflow should be triggered (but please block out sensitive data).
