Alert and update based on start date, end date and completion %
Hello, I would like to set up the following for a project plan. Reminder to the person assigned in contact column on the day that the task starts (start date). Update Request sent to the same person on the (end date) only if the task is not completed. Can that be done in one work flow, or is that two separate?

Hi Randy,
We'd use a recurring When a date is reached Trigger and then we'd use two condition paths. One for the Start and one for the End. In the End one, we would also add a Condition to check if the task isn't completed.
Would that work?

Hello Randy,
I was having trouble setting this up in the same workflow, as it sounds like your "Trigger" or the reason for each workflow to be sent is different (one is based on a start date column and one is based on an end date column). I would personally set up two separate workflows:
One workflow would be to send an alert with the trigger being "When a date is reached" specifying that the "Date field" is the Start Date column.
The second workflow would be triggered "When a date is reached" but have the "Date field" be the End Date column, and then as Andree suggested, have a condition that it only runs if the task is not marked "Complete."

My thought was to use the recurrence to have it trigger daily/weekly or what's needed, and then it should work.
