Integrating smartsheet with slack

Iʻd love to be able to get/send updates in slack rather than to an email address and woul also love to be able to link a slack channel to a sheet so we could pull it up while in Smartsheet

Add my vote...Slack / Smartsheet integration.  Per previous comment...being able to tie Slack to sheets and/or rows would be highly useful.

Also...like 50 thousand other people have asked across many threads...is there any way to see what Smartsheet is ACTUALLY working on in its development pipeline?

I'm going on site with a customer in mid-August that uses Slack and Smartsheet. It isn't on the priority list, but time permitting, I will be looking at their Slack usage and the spec for what they need integrated. 

What were you missing from Zapier (besides scalability)? Their list of Triggers and Actions seem pretty robust and they even have a few Searches (rare in the apps I use with Zapier). That is said as a non-Slack expert.

If you have a list of things that you need out of Slack integration, I will add them to my questions to ask.

Mainly adding yet another another paid service in the middle of Slack and Smartsheet is a harder sell to management.  Also by using zapier it opens up (or limits) it's use from other teams depending on how it's setup.

We did try it for a bit but blew through the call limits fairly quick on their free/trial plan.
