Has anyone had any issues with someone not receiving email notifications on certain sheets? Or receiving the email notification and the comment not showing up in the sheet? It looks like a glitch happened to one of our sheets on August 29 and I wanted to see if anyone else had the same issue. It seems to be resolved but I'm trying to figure out what caused the issue.
Any insight?

I haven't noticed anything, and I haven't heard anything from my clients either.

Could it be that the comment was added, the notification was sent, but then the comment was deleted before the recipient was able to check the sheet itself? You wouldn't receive an notification for a comment being deleted after it was posted even if you received a notification that the comment was posted.
Doesn't seem like a comment was deleted. I reached out to SmartSheet to see if anything happened on August 29 with their system. Luckily, it hasn't happened since but we are trying to figure out what might have caused it. Thanks for responding!
Hopefully it was just an isolated, one time glitch.
I also think it was a temporary glitch but do let us know if you find the cause.
Anyway we can make this view only for security purposes? We would like to prevent users from sending responses to other users by accident.
I am currently setting up an automation for people to get notified through their email, when they are prompted. But is there a way that they can reply in the email of a comment that will then go to the specific sheet. This way they do not have access to the sheet, but can just comment through email with updates?
