dates changed in bulk

One of  my editors mistakenly indented more lines that they intended to, but when i moved them back out all the dates changed. I have corrected each one using the cell history, but without understanding how it happened in the first place. Help!

    Hi Aideen-- It sounds like this happened on a sheet where Dependencies were enabled. When dependencies are enabled, the dates in your Parent rows will be determined by the earliest start date and latest end date in the Child rows. Hope this helps clear things up!
