Impossible to save rearranged sheet

Yes, we have heavy loaded sheets of our product management in Smartsheet. But we spend so much work in fine tuning the sheets so it is a little bit frustrating, that Smartsheet is not able to save rearranged sheets, after we change the production planing and drag&drop records in a different order.

I was hoping that the Windows 10 Anniversery Update and the new Chrome (or Firefox) might help Smartsheet to handle the job because of the new TCP-Stack. Our Internet provider with vectoring is also quite performant (upload 23.000 kbit/sec, download 20.000 kbit/sec.

Is there any chance to tease out some more handling power?

Hi Michael..have you tried using templates yet? It sounds like that might be helpful..

Tony, I am talking about our "master sheet" with all projects for the next 12 month. I see no point to define the "master sheet" as a template. We have 4 people who work on the master sheet, and more people working on detail sheets which are linked to the "master sheet".

Are the detailed sheets rolling to the master always the same columns? That is where I thought templates could help.

Hi Michael-- Generally when this starts to happen, I suggest that users consider breaking sheets up into smaller sheets (such as by month), then using Reporting to pull them all together when a longer-term view of project activity is needed.
