Latest version changes to Comments

It was bad enough when smartsheet completely changes the way attachments worked and made it much more cumbersome to use. Now they have done the same thing with row comments

 

The popup was so much better and so much more readable and intuitive. It also involved much less scrolling of the mouse around the screen (carpal tunel syndrome is a real concern in this line of work) I personally am very unhappy that comments are now also limited to the sidebar. 

 

How can we get them back in the center of the screen in a box that is resizable like it has ALWAYS worked (or at least worked since i started using smartsheet almost 3 years ago)

 

And again, why are we never informed about these changes and we are only forced to find out about them after the fact when trying to use the system? Why doesnt smartsheet proactively communicate about changes included in their updates?

I agree with this completely! It's a very annoying change. And having to scroll down to see the newest comment is ridiculous. Please give us the option to have the comments back where they were!
