Resubmitting a Form With New Info After Declined Approval

Hi All,

Our department is looking to produce a Training Request form for our staff. How do we set up an automated workflow where it'll allow the original requester to edit the training request if it has been declined by the manager? 

For instance, the manager may know that there's a less expensive training in Los Angeles, as opposed to Hawaii and will want the requester to edit the location before approval. This process may sometimes take multiple rounds of edits so it'd be great to allow continual editing until it's approved.

Hi Ken,

You'd use an automated update request for that. When declined > Send update request to the requester and so on.

I have a travel request form setup exactly like this. What I can't figure out right now is how the update that gets submitted triggers another workflow approval.

There are several ways to have the Update Request trigger another workflow.

Hi! I have the same issue too. Once the form or the workflow gets declined, I have setup the update request. But after it gets resubmitted, I need to trigger a new approval flow to get the resubmitted information approved.

Similar request here, but I am trying to REASSIGN the original request to someone else on the Sales team that can also approve OR decline and I want to potentially edit the original request. Can this be done? @Andrée Starå
