View sheets side-by-side & be able to paste special (cell link)?
I've become a huge fan of cell linking as i have multiple spreadsheets that are 600+ tasks where i focus a lot of my time on about 10-30 cells so i like to link them to a new sheet to allow myself a sort of "Overview".
However this has become tedious because for each project i have to link 24 cells, so when i add a new project i have to either go through the cell link process or I can copy and then paste special (cell link) but both ways are time consuming because of how slow smart sheet is.
I've tried to open two seperate Smart sheet windows to try and copy/paste special but the paste special option is grayed out - i'm assuming this doesn't work across windows.
Is there a way to view two sheets at the same time in the same window?

if Smartsheet is very slow then you have too much going on in that sheet, so I suggest a redesign of how you are doing this process. It should be making your life easier, not harder, and i thing you are wrestling with the Symptom not the Cause.
That said the princiople of cell limking the KPi's to a Portfolio or Master Roll Up sheet is a good one and very useful, its just how you go about creating those links.
If it helps I can offer you a Free initial consultation where I can show you a simple way to do this that is not onerous.

Hope that Helps
