Gantt charts - tracking date changes
hello! i know that i can track date changes in any cell by looking at cell history but is there a way that i can overlay a new gantt on the original gantt to illustrate how a project might have evolved/slipped?

Hello Si—we don't have a way to display slippage in the Gantt view, or baseline functionality but I'll get your vote down for these. As a potential workaround, you can manually track the actual start/actual finish versus the baseline start/finish dates. Details on this are in our blog: https://www.smartsheet.com/blog/quick-guide-mimicking-baseline-functionality-smartsheet
After having your baseline and actual dates, you may then be able to create a formula for slippage or variance.

Thank you, I'll give that a go.

I second this! An easy way to track date changes for specific tasks vs baselines would be very helpful.

Ha Shaine, your 'reminder' function works a treat, thanks.
