That every change they make instead of making it easier to use it keeps making it more difficult.  

Now it takes several more steps to write a note or past to a note.

How do you figure there are "several more steps"?

 

As far as I can remember, when the comments popped up in a dialog box as opposed to on the right panel, it was still the same number of steps. It was just a different layout.
