Setting up filters for displaying within a time frame

Hi 

I need to set up a filter that will only display submissions to my sheet within a certain date range and then have those that are far out in the future hidden only to display when the system recognizes the submission has come within that date range.

For example:

submission= January 6, 2020

display= display only the next 45 days

All entries/rows that meet the display criteria are visible on a sheet. Entries after the criteria date are hidden from view until the real time calendar recognizes the date proximity and releases them to display...

Is this too futuristic?

Hi Joleary,

If I understand your requirement correctly, I'd recommend using the filter condition, is in the next (days), and input 45 as the value.

Another option could be to create a report.

Would one of those methods work?
