Trend sheet - saving data after it's captured from another sheet
Hi, how do I save data in a sheet to retain for a trend chart? I have a burndown sheet that I've built a line chart to display on a dashboard. I'm able to get the data, however, due to the Today() function, it will only pull the data on that day and as the day passes, it wipes the data.
I've had to go into the sheet on each of these days and re-type in the values before the day ends so it clears out the function for that particular row.
How do I get the data into this sheet, save it or clear out the formula, so the values will remain.

=IF(TODAY() >=
Add in the "Greater Than"
.
That will keep the data populated as each day passes. I use similar tracking pretty regularly.

Thank you for the response. Another question - once we grab that data on the particular date...I want it to save and not update that particular row. As we move through the weeks, I want to have that data as a trend when I'm building out a line chart to show improvements or regression in closing out risks.
Thoughts?

The best recommendation I can make is the Move Row automation. Set it up to automatically move the row to another sheet based on the Data Collection Date column.
Moving a row keeps the data but strips the formula so it will stop calculating.
