Attaching Files from Sharepoint
Hi,
I've been looking at possible ways to attach files from Sharepoint Libraries (like the way to attach from onedrive)
I found that if you attach a URL - the URL of the file within Sharepoint this appears to work.
Does anyone have any thoughts as to why this would not be a good workaround?
Many Thanks

Hi Scott,
One thing to be mindful of is if the URL changes in anyway the file may no longer be accessible. Aside from that, I don't see any reason why attaching a link to a Sharepoint file wouldn't be a good idea.
If needed, more information on attaching a link from an online resource can be found here: https://help.smartsheet.com/articles/518406-attachments-from-google-drive-onedrive-dropbox-box-evernote-egnyte-url

Hi,
One thing that I have found is that if you attach a file URL from Sharepoint and then move the file to a different folder in the Sharepoint site the link still works.
This has helped me greatly

Hi, are you working on integrating Teams files attachments (or the Sharepoint Online files structure as they are interchangeable) in the options for uploading attachments?
