Hyperlinks not exporting

I am trying to export my smartsheet to excel and whenever I do this, all the hyperlinks are gone and I have to enter the hyperlinks again manually in the generated excel spreadsheet. I tried exporting to google docs and the same issue. Hyperlinks are not exporting. Why? Please assist.

 

When I tried to log into the smartsheet community with my smartsheet account which is my email address, I am unable to sign up. It says error occurred

Hello,

If the hyperlink has display text, the hyperlink will not be maintained when exporting to excel. To maintain the hyperlink, you'll want to remove the display text.

When you have a moment, submit a Product Enhancement Request to let our Product team know that you'd like to have this functionality in Smartsheet.

The ability to maintain hyperlinks upon export was temporarily disabled while we investigated a potential issue, and is now enabled again, and working as expected.
