Workflow for multiple column

Hi,

i am trying to create a workflow for more than one column. I want to use the same exact condition for multiple column at the time. I have over 20 column so it would be long to create 20 workflow that basically do the same thing.

Is that possible?

Same problem with conditionnal formating.

You aren't going to like this, buuuut

Generally this is completed through brute force in smartsheet. That said strategy can help, if you identify what you need for each workflow, identify where you are going to change each item in each row, you can create a basic outline of a conditional format or workflow that fills in each field/criteria that doesn't change, and clone it to minimize the amount of work you have to do.

This is one area that I hope smartsheet improves on in the near future. I recommend submitting a product enhancement request. The link is on the right side of this webpage.

L@123 is correct. I just set something up where I needed the same automation to trigger on 23 different columns with the exception of who it sent to.

 

There was a lot of clone, tweak, clone, tweak before it was all said and done.
