Creating a Widget Using the Activity Log

Is there a way to create a chart widget that will reference each users activity live, per sheet modification? A tally of sorts illustrated in one widget?

Unfortunately it is not currently possible to access the Activity Log other than to view it while in the actual sheet.

There is a premium add-on, Event Reporting that might help. Is that an option?
