System admin rights
Hello,
I am system admin and I have some questions about my exact permissions.
Based on your documentation located at
a system admin can edit any users, including other system admins.
But, in reality, I can not delete other system admin ( the action is greyed ) and apparently, some of the role can not be removed:
So, as system admin, can I delete other system admins and/or remove the system admin role on other system admin ?

I seem to have this ability so I don't know the difference between yours and mine. We also run 2 sysadmins

Thank you L@123 for your check. And do you have the capability to delete sysadmin users or is this action greyed like for me ?
-
Yes I have the permissions to fully delete a fellow sysadmin. Actually he was the first sysadmin for my company so it isn't anything to do with who was first issued the license.

Hi,
Is the screenshot above showing your profile or the other sysadmin?
I hope that helps!
Have a fantastic weekend & Happy Holidays!

Hi,
The screenshot above shows the other sysadmin of course.

@bubbounty That's what I thought! Wanted to make sure!
Strange!
If you haven’t already, I would recommend that you reach out to the Smartsheet Support Team. Smartsheet Support Team

Hi @bubbounty
If you are on a paid, multiuser plan, these boxes will only be greyed out for a System Admin if you are trying to edit the same account from the User Management tab that you are currently logged in as. If you are on a trial plan, you will also be unable to edit the original System Admin account that created the trial, as the trial is registered to their email address.
If you have a paid plan and you can confirm that the email you are using to log in to Smartsheet is not the one you are trying to edit, yet these boxes are still greyed out, please reach out to our Support team as @Andrée Starå mentioned. When you do so, please provide them with the email address you are using to log in and a full screen capture (including the email address of the other user you are editing).
Thanks!
Genevieve
