Sheet Summary Reports - Limit on Number of Referenced Sheets in a Workspace

I have a single Workspace that currently holds 310 Project Scheduling Sheets - I have a row report with the entire Workspace referenced which gives me the warning regarding a 250 sheet maximum recommended scope. But I also have a sheet summary report with dozens of fields that also references this same workspace, and no similar warning is triggered.

Does a Sheet Summary report run more efficiently in Smartsheet than a Row report, that might allow me to report against more sheets or a larger single Workspace? Not sure if I really want to break up my sheets into multiple Workspaces since it would complicate my reporting process.

We are pushing for approval for licensing Control Center but for now, I have to work without it.

I really appreciate any feedback - This Online Community is a fantastic resource

    Hi Mark,

I haven't seen any limitation numbers on the Sheet Summary Reports, and I guess that it needs less processing power and therefore has no limitation or a higher one.

    I hope that helps!

Have a fantastic day & Happy New Year!
